I can't begin to thank you enough for taking the time to help me last Friday with the issues I was having with reporting. I spent the weekend converting my clients current reports to XtraReports. I learned a great deal about the reporting tool and my client is thrilled about the charts and new capabilities we are going to have moving forward. Within the next hour I will have the other companies tool uninstalled and be totally on DevExpress reporting.

As a side note I also uninstalled <Competitor Product Omitted> as soon as we got off the phone Friday and installed CodeRush. I used to use CodeRush when I first started programming with visual studio back in 2007. I eventually stopped using it because it does so much, as a new programmer I was totally intimidated by it. Now that I have gone back to it, I can appreciate what it does and although I have a long way to go, I am enjoying the experience of learning how to use it.

When I switched from Java to .NET many years ago, the first thing I missed was the great refactoring support in IntelliJ. I felt I had stepped back 5 years, and just couldn't see how anyone could live without the features. 4 years ago we convinced our company to purchase your whole package, and I was impressed beyond all expectation with Refactor!, as well as the controls.

Skip to today, and I am back in IntelliJ writing for Android in my spare time. The thing I miss most now is Refactor! Pro. It blows away IntelliJ for features, accessibility, ease of use, discoverability, intelligence, and any other measure I can think of. Now that I am no longer with that company, I don't think I can get into WinPhone app dev without Refactor!. Congratulations on making such an amazing tool.

This is primarily about Refactor!, but I would be remiss if I left it at that. The quality and update schedule of your WinForms controls, and the excellent support you provide, made the job we had to do possible. It's still making it so for those who are left behind. Without the work of your team, ours could not have delivered.

I have been very pleased with the response from DevExpress Support (even if it was NOT what I wanted them to tell me at the time). The Support team outlined the issue and explained it in detail so that I could move on. (This is very important to developers, if it can't be done just let us know and don't beat around the bush.)

The DevExpress Support team also has sent my request to the developers who then answered and totally resolved this particular issue for me. I have used DevExpress Products for Delphi Development for years and it is a great product and so, I am excited to continue to use DevExpress for my ASP.NET development.
