I tried the tools from <competitor name withheld>, <competitor name withheld> and DevExpress and my experience was: The learning curve was better with DevExpress than others. The components are good structured, the documentation is good and every mail to the support or sales team was answered fast. A very gread component is the WinForms Grid: Wow, this is a high speed grid! (50.000 entries loaded in under one second!). At last: I was immediately convinced by CodeRush: Currently I work with <competitor name withheld> but I mean that CodeRush is faster and I save more time when I'm writing code (thanks for the YouTube training videos!).

DevExpress Grid Control with the built-in Filter Builder and the ability to save/load the layout settings gave our users a unique opportunity to create a custom report repository for each department without any extra development. The XtraCharts and XtraPrinting Libraries made it possible to quickly and easily create a chart from the gird, save it and print it. Those features were the icing on the cake!

I've been using DevExpress' CodeRush for over nine years now and couldn't imagine developing without it. The tool has made me more productive when developing applications. When demonstrating or presenting, people see it and immediately get hooked. It's all in the demos...when you see it, you buy in immediately.

XtraReports nailed it on all fronts and came with extras we never thought we could get like a great end-user Report Designer. I've been using DevExpress components for the last five years and I'm very happy with them. I'm working mainly in the WinForms environment and their controls are really great. But not only their controls and components. Their support is great too. I've experienced this myself. Working on an issue, a guy from DevExpress took the time to spend a couple of hours working with me on my project, doing pair programming while he was remote connected with my PC. Really great!

I really appreciate their ongoing investments in WinForms development. Every release they not only have updated or extended their existing components, but they releasing even new components. DevExpress: Highly recommended!

The DevExpress ASP.NET controls have saved us hundreds of hours of programming time. The controls look great and provide our Enterprise business software a modern look and feel. The controls are very easy to use. The ASPXGridView control is by far the most used control in our application. The ability to hook it up to our SQL DataSource and provide instant results is amazing! I would recommend these controls to anyone using ASP.NET.

I have been using DevExpress library for more than ten years now and in particular XAF framework, what a great addition this is to the library. I find this software tool to be effective to assist me in developing my products because the tools in this program are more efficient in generating and supporting the software. For example I no longer need to be concerned with the UI of my program; (although this can be customised if you need to); I can concentrate on my business logic in the software to get my software to market quicker. This in turn makes my business more efficient and cost effective and reduces development costs.
