No amount of marketing hype and hyperbole can mask a company’s ability to deliver products that meet and exceed customer expectations. The following is a brief list of comments sent to us from our end-users – developers such as yourself who don’t have time and money to waste – developers who need to get down to business and address client needs in the shortest possible timeframe.
I have been using DevExpress for several years now, and they have far out matched any other control suite out there. Using DevExpress allows me to complete my applications quickly, easily and with a lot of functionality. I love using these controls.
The support is outstanding! Whenever I have a question, I go straight to the Knowledge Base. I do a search there and if I don't find the answer, then I submit a question to the support staff. I have always received an answer within a timely manner. Most of the time though, I have found the answer within the Knowledge Base.
Thank you so much for providing these outstanding controls, and supporting them the way you do.

I develop software applications for the not-for-profit sector. Using DevExpress components allows me to develop much faster and effectively allows me to keep my prices down. I am now looking at moving some of my applications to use the ASP.NET MVC framework. Due to my good experiences with DX products, support and the community forums, I will only consider DevExpress components and frameworks to realize this goal.

We've been evaluating the DevExpress ASP.NET controls for a while and have found them to be the best out there. The ASPxPivotGrid is definitely the best pivot control available, and has saved us months of development time. It does almost everything you could want out of the box, but is still extremely easy to extend.
Unlike other component packages, DevExpress has great performance, which is very important on the web. There is good documentation available, and an extensive Knowledge Base with plenty of examples. I can definitely recommend DevExpress over any other controls package!

In my own company, I have already moved to DevExpress. I really like your components and your support is rock solid. I develop applications for the sports and broadcast industries and have been very pleased with your components. It's well worth the money!
I just wanted you guys to know.. and as I'm sure you're well aware, a lot of customers only write in to the “upper management” about complaints, and negative issues.. I've been one of them and have discussed support issues in the past with both Julian and Max. I don't just consider myself personally to be just a customer anymore..
I'm not sure if Vest is a new guy [I've not seen his name attached to anything], or not.. but he did an absolutely fantastic job answering my question and providing a 100% just-about-copy-and-paste ready solution to my issue.
His response to me completely epitomizes the “right” level of support.. not only did he provide me with a solution to my original question, he provided it in both fashions.. one for both client, and server side filtering on the new MVC grid. The solution worked right off the bat.. F5 ready.. the code was clear and concise.. and totally self contained working example [that I already learned a few other MVC things] and absolutely 100% satisfied in one shot the questions that I had.. and did so in such a fashion that I'm probably not going to have to write back and ask for further clarification/help.. [some of this is just not documented yet in the MVC Extensions]
I just wanted to take the time to point this out to you guys.. I couldn't be happier with this answer and definitely wanted to make sure you guys knew what a terrific job was done and how completely elated I was to receive it.

We chose the DevExpress ASPxperience Suite because we needed a robust, flexible and end-user friendly set of libraries for .Net RIA development against a constantly shifting set of business needs, that where still powerful enough to integrate with our other back office systems with minimal effort.
As a donor supported organisation, our IT strategies need to reflect a lean, knowledge based approach. So, while getting value for money is always a concern, portability and standardisation of code is also primary to ensure that we find the best development resources for each piece of work, and create a happy marriage between business users, analysts and developers.
After years of experience building .Net applications, our IT staff knew the ASPxperience Suite was an obvious choice for rapid RIA development; with its powerful AJAX integration, Upload and Data View controls, all built on top of a standardised framework meant our code was not only portable between development teams but that it was easy to adopt, adapt and improve over time. We looked at open source libraries too, many of which were also very well equipped, but with the added value DevExpress offered in terms of reliability, service and customer support, as well as a strong eco system of developers we where ‘sold'.
Our first project saw the ASPxperience Suite used as a foundation to build a RIA extension to our externally developed financial system and reporting tools. Our a small technical team worked closely with the external consultants on an extremely tight budget. As both teams knew the common framework and GUI controls that the ASPxperience Suite offered they were able to together seamlessly on very specific details using a set of tools that behaved and performed predictably. This meant that the tech, business and external teams could dynamically collaborate to try out different solutions together in a truly agile fashion; allowing them to pro-actively refine the system designs during the project's lifecycle.
All together, the DevExpress suite really helped make the production process a success, with an on-budget solution and the ultimate result – very happy users!
We are very pleased with our decision to use the DevExpress products and can highly recommend them and their fantastic support team.

We've chosen the DevExpress components for a number of reasons:
DevExpress has been around for a long time and we trust their components and know they will be continue to be developed and enhanced. We recently replaced a component (<competitor component name omitted>) as it's original maker has disappeared, even though we do have the source (as bugs prevent us from using it with newer versions of Delphi). With ExpressQuantumGrid we are confident we will avoid such problems with DevExpress.
The ExpressLayout Control allows us to present a uniform and sophisticated user interface across all forms in an application that will look well on different workstations with different screen resolutions.
The ExpressQuantumGrid and ExpressPivotGrid helps us to integrate a powerful tool for data analysis and presentation in our application avoiding the need to use external tools such as Excel.
ExpressScheduler allows us to integrate "to-do" lists and present those in a way most users are familiar with.
Last but not least the ExpressPrinting System, adds report printing to our application with little effort as it can use the existing grids.
I have written to you a few times over the years, and I am probably going to continue writing to you in the future.
The reason for this is just this: I simply cannot believe (except that it is so true!) that you continue to deliver exceptional and magnificent products. I know with absolute certainty that I can install an update within a few minutes (your installer is best in the business) and everything just works. No nonsense, just works!! What a great achievement!!
And of course you then realise that once a developer has used you products, we simply cannot do without them. To do so would move us back into the dark ages...
Perhaps if things go on like this, one of your future releases will be able to make us a nice cup of coffee as well, I would not be surprised in the least!
Thank you for a fantastic product, praiseworthy, relevant and brilliant.

14 years ago, I developed a Delphi website for a company that is still going strong. It used ISAPI, plain HTML and InterBase as a backend database server. I have continued to help with new features and updates over the years, and after winning your great grand Christmas prize, I started to port this website to ASP.NET and SQL Server. It has been a joy!!!
Your team is really consistent in the way that they design the classes and logic, which makes the steep learning curve much easier to overcome. Your components are really great and I get these "Ah ha..." experiences that makes the work so much fun.

When a user begins to work with a new program, the first thing they notice is the cosmetic quality. Does the program look professional and modern? That first impression is important but all-too-often overlooked, especially in custom software. The DevExpress VCL components all make it easy to create a positive first impression. With their ExpressBars and ExpressNavBar suites and the look-and-feel capabilities of all the DevExpress VCL libraries, I can quickly put together an outstanding user interface for my customers.
The second thing a user notices over time as they work with a program is the capabilities it has. This is where DevExpress tools really make me look good. For example, a customer specification required that data be displayed in grids in various places throughout the program. Since I'm using the Developer Express ExpressQuantumGrid, not only can I give them the grid display they requested, with no more effort than setting a few properties the grid columns can be sorted, grouped, rearranged, resized and more. And all the changes a user makes to the layout can be saved and restored the next time they run the program. With almost no extra effort on my part, using Developer Express tools I can provide an end user experience far beyond what my customers expected. This makes me look great, and makes my customers very happy.
