I am a user of DevExpress products since 1999. I use the DevEx components in several C/S applications, targeting MS-SQL and ORACLE database servers. Not only have I found the components to be ready-to-use and invaluable, DevEx's prompt support helped me to implement some additional and very specialized features. Usually it was a matter of a few hours until I had a response (with sample code!) which allowed me to continue and gave me deeper insights. And, by the way, I never found a bug which influenced my work in DevEx's products!
To summarize: great product, great support! Using DevEx's products was one of my best decisions.
The best 3rd party products by far that I have ever purchased for Delphi. I can accomplish anything imaginable using ExpressQuantumGrid & ExpressBars, not to mention the additional add-ons that are included like ExpressMemData. Excellent support to go along with it, I feel I have an additional development team working off site that can respond within 12 hours with any development questions I ask. WOW!!! If you're looking for drop in Grids, Treelist or menu systems look no further, you'll be wasting your time, I guarantee it!!!

I have purchased almost the entire suite of DevExpress products and have used them extensively for all my active projects. The tools (especially ExpressQuantumGrid and ExpressBars) are without doubt the most feature-rich and capable third-party tools I have ever used. After some time of using them, you begin to feel that there is nothing you cannot do with them. However, over and above the quality of the components themselves is the support behind them. Their support team consistently go above and way beyond the call of duty to provide answers and solutions. Indeed, in my case those solutions have even further increased the functionality of their products as they have demonstrated ways [in code] of doing things I didn't think could be done.
At the end of the day, if your projects involve a UI in any way, I strongly recommend these products as a standard part of your component toolkit.
Sound coding aside, these products definitely give your app the professional finish and feel that no good commercial application would dare be without.
Thank you DevExpress for your great components. I build high-end Oracle-based software for the Petroleum industry with per-seat costs of $25K+. All of my products use ExpressQuantumGrid, ExpressInspector, and ExpressBars. They have worked flawlessly for me since Day One. My clients are very enthusiastic about the look-and-feel DevExpress components give to my applications, but are especially grateful for the grouping functionality in ExpressQuantumGrid. This feature alone has differentiated me from the competition and won me several large sales!
When we started to do the planning for a Delphi project we spent a long time evaluating the components we would need. Our priority list was short and easy to read: 1. quality of the components 2. availability of source code and 3. quality of service. For the user interface, the choice was easy. The ExpressMegaPack (now upgraded to QuantumPack) offered all we needed and more. A lot of features in our app are only available because of the ExpressGrid, ExpressBars and ExpressInspector (my favorite). Support is even better. (They even fixed bugs I made :)) But before I start to write a novel: Keep on doing the good work. It makes our life easier.
I just want to say how pleased I am with both the quality of the components I've just bought (MegaPack) and the speedy response of your tech support. If only Borland and Microsoft offered the same level of service! ExpressBars, ExpressGrid and ExpressOrgChart are absolutely stunning.
We bought the ExpressBars kit a few months ago and we are very pleased with the latest version. We have used your support a few times and I just wanted you guys to know that I have never experienced such quick and excellent support before from any other software company.

I'm superimpressed by the ExpressBars component suite. I just took a couple of minutes to replace the RX Toolbar component and get it up & running again. It instantly improved the look and functionality of my application. I should have bought your component suite much earlier, yes, I should have. Also the ExpressGrid suite of components is just astonishing, to me, it just to o good to be true (and the nice thing about it is: it is really true). Many thanks and keep up the extremely good work you're providing the Delphi community. This is by far the best investment I made, I'm just sorry for myself I did not buy your component suites earlier.
When I showed my ideas for a new project with powerful features, easy UI and lightning fast speed to my chiefs they didn't believe that this can be true. Then I did a small demo verison using ExpressGrid and I've got the project! Since then I used the support a few times and got answers much faster than I ever expect. Today half the application is based on DevExpress Components (ExpressQuantumGrid and ExpressBars).
Thanks once more for all you help. And send greetings to whoever got the idea for the ExpressGrid. I got my whole investement in MegaPack back the first day. The first customer who saw it wanted to have ExpressGrid as a feature in his application as soon as possible.
When I see the DevExpress publicity on the web I think I am the man "before and after". For me it is the exact reality! ExpressGrid is not a simple DBGrid ... it's an other world. If you want you can use it like others but why, because without any work this component opens for you another world. I think it is the best thing I find on the web! When I see what I can do with it, when look the weeks of work this component "economise" for me I think his price is very cheap. It is a fantastic work, I hope to work like this, to have such a good ideas! The most is certainly the team ! I live in France (Chamonix, near the "Mont Blanc") and my english is very bad, hard to undersand for the others especially when I try to explain technical problems. Every time they answer to my mails "at receipt" and when I have a big problem they give me a solution in the "two days" after my question. As we say in France "Chapeau!". It is such a pleasure to work with them that I buy all their compnents "eyes closed" (ExpressBars, ExpressOrgChart). Each are fantastic!
These guys at DevExpress not only write excellent software but are dedicated on ongoing support for their customers as well. In that package ExpressQuantumGrid becomes an extremely powerful component that saves money.
May I also congratulate you on ExpressQuantumGrid, I carried out a basic implementation in an application I am writing and sent it out to my Beta Testers in under 1 hour! I have never had that experience with any other product (and I have a lot!)...I can assure you that when the funds allow, I will be back for more!
First of all...We received the ExpressMegaPack and are blown away by the grid, and all the other stuff we decided to stop the development of our project and restart it from scratch with the DevExpress tools supporting it ... Thx god we found your webpage.
