We bought the ExpressQuantumGrid and ExpressQuantumTreeList back last September and I thought I'd drop you a line to tell how happy we are with them. I remember the day well. We were mid-way through a large application that is our company's flagship product and it was lacking the real "killer" analysis features we really wanted. I thought long and hard about how we could achieve it. One morning I trying to explain what I wanted to one of my team and failing. On his desk was a developer's magazine and I was stopped in my tracks when I caught a glimpse of a screenshot on an advert. "Thats it!" I yelped at him. "Thats what I want to do!". I couldn't believe my luck and ordered the QuantumGrid Suite right away. Within a week we had four amazing features in our application that did exactly what I wanted. Quantum Grid and Tree List are superb and we simply could not have achieved what we have without them. We know we've got the best grid on the market and don't even need to look at anything else again! Thanks a lot!
I'm really impressed with your new ExpressBars that we'll being ordering too. When we got the Visual Studio .NET beta and saw the new style menus and toolbars our hearts sank, here we go again, we thought. Now you've got us really excited. To think we can have these features in our apps before even Microsoft themselves have them in a commercially available product is pretty awesome stuff.
I was very, very impressed with your writing a complete set of components in C# for .NET. Like you I'm pretty excited about .NET and have had the Framework and VS betas for a while. Unlike you I've promised myself I'd get into it "soon" and "when I've got time". You've inspired me to get my brain into action. Brilliant!

I just can't get over the stupendous support I get from DevEx. Not only is it far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a support desk, but also it is practically instantaneous. I no sooner fire off a MAYDAY than the lifeline is safely in my hands; no fear of sinking at all. You may think words of thanks are cheap, but there's a commercial issue here too. I am so impressed - and as a professional developer of more years than I care to remember, I take some impressing - that I am systematically removing all other third-part libraries from my repertoire and intend to replace them all with DevEx products where such alternatives exist. I think any conscientious developer would be a fool not to. All the best.
Everything downloaded and installed just fine and I haven't slept since. You guys are "bloody legends" as we say in Australia. I have really only looked at the QuantumGrid and ExpressBars (just scratching the surface!) and already have had cause to dance around the office on at least two occasions. The stuff that I can do with these parts is amazing and I haven't written any code yet!
I recently purchased ExpressQuantumGrid and was immensely impressed. I thought this couldn't get any better. I was however very surprised to learn after the newest release that I was luckily wrong. The new product is even better.
Just a quick note to say how absolutely impressed I am with your VCL suite of tools. Shortly after receiving each new suite, I found myself adding features to my applications that I wouldn't have dreamed possible - and with next to no code! Best of all, my users absolutely love the results (and they think I am a genius, too). For this I thank you very much. Your products have become an indispensable part of my development library.
I have been integrating the ExpressBars Suite and the ExpressQuantumGrid Suite into our ERP application and I must say that it has added a whole level of professionalism to our application that I wasn't even aware we were missing! Both are unbelievably feature rich and I was very impressed (and relieved) how much I could make these components shine without a line of code! My clients are amazed and thrilled with the added user enhancements that I have already made, and I haven't even come close to using either suite to it's full potential yet. Aesthetically and functionally, you have allowed us to build and application beyond even our own expectations. And I can't begin to express how knowledgeable and responsive the technical support has been! One of the main reasons I bought from DevExpress was for the support, and they have certainly shined for me! Keep up the great work!
I have been working with the ExpressQuantumGrid, and would just like to say how impressed I am with your product. Having worked with other 3rd party Grid components, it is just SO refreshing to work with your grid, which offers proper Delphi IDE Object Inspector support for all Grid objects, loads of properties & events to let me customise the behaviour.
Where I previously struggled with other grids (without eventual success) to make work in my desired way, simply setting the anticipated properties, and including appropriate events, just works! The architecture, implementation and depth of features are just splendid. I think this is most likely the best set of components I have purchased, and well worth the money.

After fiddling around with other components for years, it is a real relief to find a suite which works first time every time! I am quickly coming to realize that your suite is superbly crafted set of components. They are lean, cleanly designed and behave exactly as expected. A real pleasure to work with!
DevExpress's Grid Control makes our programs shine. Not only do their products help us release turn key solutions but they get delivered on time and on budget. Clients are amazed with the flexibility we add to our applications and its all thanks to the feature Rich Quantum Grid! We have tried many grid controls and this is the one that does it all. First there was sliced bread now there is the Quantum Grid.
What can I say? I am truly impressed! This is by far the BEST grid I have ever used. And the ease of use is really amazing. Just one or two properties and... It is truly incredible. Thanks for a great product!
Also, I have been "dreaming" about the data-aware version of the QuantumTreeList, and here it is, I just ordered it! DevExpress makes me think of that Bryan Adams song: "Everything I do, I do it for you".
That's it: everything you do, it always seems you do it for me! :)
How many DBGrids have I tested? Many. Actual user graphic interfaces get more and more complex, static data representation is not sufficent: customers ask for various possibilities of analysing, modifing and representing information.
Each one of those grids I get have one or more peculiarities like speed, ergonomics, various cells types (dropdown lists, checkboxes, bitmaps, etc...) and so on. But NONE have such a huge collection of features like the ExpressQuantumGrid.
Reliability is also excellent, which is not a simple question when you offer so many enhancements. Well, just get their demo application, and LOOK. Simply crazy, I wonder about how ExpressQuantumGrid will look in future 3D holographic displays.... what they've done at this time! Just kidding...
It's obvious that a such quality product is the logical result of a strong technical team. Some last words about their free technical forum: they answer quickly and aren't afraid to give a hand on some tricks. Very usefull. Bravo!
The Express Master View control solves the inherent complexities in displaying master detail information within an Outlook style application. Developers can now look forward to building applications with new framework paradigms removing the necessity to pop-up a new window each time details are required. Information is at your fingertips displaying both forward and backward paths through the master detail relationships. The next generation of turnkey application interface solutions has arrived. Great stuff.
I can't say enough about DevExpress components. We use them because nothing even comes close for developing elegant user interfaces easily. These components are a must have!
Without a doubt, the single best feature about DevExpress products is the support. Best around.

As a busy database application developer, I don't have time to explore other avenues of Delphi programming, such as component writing. With the quality of your components and tech support, looks like I won't have to. Your components have done so much to enhance the functionality and the look of my new apps, that I am going back to upgrade my existing programs. I mostly use your ExpressGrid and ExpressInspector and feel that have just touched the tip of the iceberg of your ExpressQuantumPack. I especially want to thank your tech support team for their fast and accurate responses and making my transition to your components so much easier.
Working on my projects I am helped very well by you and your company. I do not feel alone on the problems we have. And as an experienced developer I know that it is hard to provide good support and find all the problems the clients face. Keep it that way, it is a very good point which will cause a lot of positive side effects. Like me I positively advise everybody to use the DevExpress components.
Your components have become the core of all my Delphi development. My end user just love working with them!
